I work at a big company with lots of personalities.. And I have had issues with one Co worker...
Those issues just about got me fired a couple weeks. But her issues counterbalanced my issues.
The basic story was she gave notice a couple weeks ago because our boss asked her to fully commit to the project she was working on.. and so she thought that was being disrespectful.. so she quit. She then tried to rescind it.. and the boss would not let her.. so she started swinging out. And I took the bait... and swung back.. (not literally) and just about got fired.
Well she gave notice again.. and I am confused as to what is going on.. I need to talk the the boss tomorrow.

This Week
The goals for this week are eat out only one extra time.. (I have dinner meetings Tuesday, Wednesday a Thursday) dinner out.. and to work out at least 3 time.
I did ok last week. Better on the not eating out, but not as good on the working out part.
An additional goal is to have at least 4 times "quiet times".
Lets see how I do!

New the whole on line on demand
Ok... So I have been cheap for years.. Stealing on line time at work.. which was ok to do at my previous job.. but now I have a job where I actually have alot of work to do.. not to mention that they actually have and use a fire wall to block employees from stealing on line time. Hence the computer that is sitting on my lap now. But I should be applauded for waiting unit I could get what I wanted.. a laptop with wireless capabilities.. but I did not wait long enough for me to afford a mac.. maby next time.
But now I am a bit over whelmed on what to do first with my new on line on demand stuff. What should I do first?
First I made this blog..:) but what next? On line movies.. on line dating.. my space... you tube?
Right now I am in love with You Tube... Who knows what the next love will be.

Pet Peeve of mine
This is my current pet peeve...
If some one says hello.. if i say hello quietly or they don't hear me say Hello or Good morning back... then they go.. I said Hello.. or good morning or good afternoon.. as the case may be.. This morning this happened.. a women said Good Morning while I was getting my milk out of the Fridge at work, I said hello softly... and she blasts back with a "I said Good Morning!" I then turned around and I said.. I said Hello! I am sorry you did not hear..
Why is this women trying to shame me? When I say Hello I am saying it for my own benefit... not to make other people feel bad. If the subject of my hello does not respond.. i just leave it alone.. i don't try and make them feel bad about not responding back.. may be that person is not quite awake... may be they have some thing import on their mind.. who know.. but I don't say hello to get validation of my Greeting abilities..
I mentioned this to two different people.. the one person agreed with me.. and the other was like.. The other person (the person that started the hello exchange) probably thought that you were being disrespectful of her.. and i am like... which I will save for another post.. the idea or preception of respect.

First Post
After many years I have finally gotten my own PC, so I thought I would try this whole Blog thing...
This site is mostly for me to have a place to put my own thoughts and feelings.. so if you accidentally stumble upon this site know that I really was a short bus rider.. In preschool. My mother heard that my brother and I might qualify for publicly funded preschool because we had some speech problems..(he and I are twins.. and speech problems are common among twins. Probably due to the fact that we learned how to speak in part by listening to another human that was learning to speak at the same time as we were.. I guess twins reinforce their own bad habits.) H and I rode the short bus to a county run preschool. We were the only "normal" kids on the bus. The other kids were a bit older then us and if I am remembering correctly(I was only 4!) some were developmentally delayed and some were helmet kids. I never realised that riding this but would be an insult until in my post college life at job some one jokingly said.. hey he is a short bus rider.. and I was like.. HEY! I was a short bus rider! and he said.. I would not be too proud about that.. and I said..Hey I have a college degree..(he did not). I am not ashamed of my short bus riding days.. in fact I am glad that I started off my learning career in an such a supportive environment.
